Yes!!!! I love enemies to lovers and I could not stop smiling while reading this! I loved this way more than the first one in this series and I’m so excited to read them all now. What is better than two built, hot and alpha hockey players figuring themselves out and falling in love? And the banter!!! Swoon

I like a good enemies to lovers story and this one was so much fun. I liked the competitiveness between Jacobs and Beck, even when it was still antagonistic. Their back and forth banter went from being typical smack talk, to slightly flirty, to obviously dirty and I enjoyed every kind. While I wasn't a big fan of the team basically forcing their would-be captains to complete challenges against their will, I understand that they were meant to be the catalyst for Jacobs and Beck to realize their attraction. I liked that both of them for the most part were new to same sex attraction and appreciated that neither of them had a dramatic gay freak out moment. There was actually minimal drama throughout the book, which I found quite refreshing and added to the overall playful vibe of the book. These two may not have gotten along when we first met them, but between the obligatory hockey team camaraderie and getting to know each other more throughout the forced proximity of the training camp, the development of first their mutual attraction and then deeper feelings didn't seem as implausible as it first seemed. I am really enjoying this hockey series and I am excited to see what will come in the next installment.

Despite my deception with the first book of this series, I'm happy to have gone on with it because contrary to Zach and Froster chemistry in [b:Power Plays & Straight A's|53336266|Power Plays & Straight A's (CU Hockey, #1)|Eden Finley|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1591881111l/53336266._SY75_.jpg|81898788], the chemistry between Jacobs and Teddy alias Beck was completely off the charts. It was full of snark and banter, it was sexy but also really sweet at times. I just loved it !

Although I was amused by Beck's behavior the whole store went by quite uneventful. And the charity at the end is something every hockey romance writer comes up with. The narration was good.

This book was amazzzinggg! Oh my! Beck and Jacobs are hilarious together and I loved their dynamic. They both had some exploring to do and it was just as sweet as it was sexy! Watching their story unfold was so much fun.
