I’ve never cried more and so continuously while reading this. I think it healed part of my soul from my grandpas passing. TJ Klune does it again.
Graphic: Death
Moderate: Suicide, Child death, Animal death, and Death of parent

Another endearing book from TJ Klune. Klune is the kind of author you just buy the book whenever he releases a new title without any prior knowledge because you already know you're going to love it. His tone and pace, the warmth that seems to radiate from the pages, the mindfulness and intentionality in the themes, how you know you're going to laugh out loud, but also be deeply challenged, but not in a burdensome way. The characters in this book had me literally laughing out loud, I listed to the audiobook while going on walks and it was a great combo. Great narrating by Kirt Graves. I know this review is kind of vague, and more generally about Klune's writing, than the story itself, and I'm okay with that, because I honestly think with TJ Klune, the specifics don't matter. It's just good people. You know?

This book was a slow burn for me, but ultimately I would end up staying up too late for one more chapter or squeezing in a few pages at lunch. More loveable characters, but Apollo is definitely my favorite
