The hero sexually abuses the heroine in the beginning but you know it's okay because she enjoyed it and had an orgasm.
This is so wrong on so many levels.

Couldn’t get into it. Felt for college kids very immature. Should have been high schoolers. The premise of the story was lack luster and underwhelming thought out.

The nightmare of every young woman in college.
I’m not talking about the hero, he’s bad and good, he’s head is messed up because he’s still hurting after her but the other character is just too much to digest at times.
The book has a lot of triggering feelings so not for the faint of heart.
I’ll still recommend it because it treats some issues that everyone should be aware of and maybe pay more attention.

Next time I’ll listen and DNF
I really should have DNFd. This book, story, characters, and writing weren’t for me.
Remington was immature, childish, self-centered, and wholly unattractive to me in the entire book. There was not a single instance where I found him to be likable.
Jules was a one-note doormat.
The whole “bully” theme in this story felt weak, underdeveloped, and flat.

Graphic: Sexual harassment, Gaslighting, Sexual violence, Stalking, Sexual assault, Violence, Emotional abuse, Rape, Toxic friendship, and Toxic relationship
Minor: Death of parent and Death

I was really looking forward to this, but was slightly dissapointed. It was still a good read but the beginning bit totally ruined it for me, like I don't understand the way he acted towards her, so uncalled for. I was nearly tempted to stop reading. But after about chapter 9 or 10 it did get better!
