I couldn't put this one down - it was a real page turner. I loved the writing style and the twist of the haunting happening to Ash rather than the family was a nice though . Not sure I'd have read this if I hadn't found it for cheap in a charity shop but I'll be seeking out more of James Herbert's books I reckon!
