Gun Street Girl is an interesting outing for Sean Duffy, one that takes him from the "safe" suburbs of Belfast into the heart of a conspiracy theory that goes all the way to Thatcher and Reagan. Maybe. Probably.
What looks like simple murder-suicide gets complicated when the RUC dig up evidence that the killer might have been involved in an accidental overdose/homicide in Oxford, and that there were three people in the room that night. Are they related? As usual, Duffy... Duffy.
Several real events are used to add verisimilitude to the story.
