Simon is one heck of a HOT HOT HOT doctor. Thankfully I am reading on an iPad instead of paperback.. I can just wipe the drool off with a napkin no problem. Like he is sizzling! And that British accent OH MY GOD. I need this man in my life (sorry boyfriend). So Simon and Bridget have a weird first meeting. Not even 1 minute into the first time they met his hands are already on her butt with her knickers pulled down and in his face. It's not what you think.
Then 3 months later, low and behold Simon is the person that is renting out Bridget's above garage apartment. Fancy that. The two have instant attraction and GREAT chemistry. We already know they will be perfect for each other a few chapters in and now we just wait to read to see when they figure it out and then finally admit it.
Both Simon and Bridget work at the hospital and both have things holding them back. Like Bridget is a widow (2 years prior) and has a 8 year old son. Simon sleeps around, does not want to settle down nor wants kids. Plus he isn't staying in this location long. Oh and he has secrets. Secrets that I am desperate to know. Okay maybe there not secrets, maybe they are just details from his past or something that has affected his future but I NEED TO KNOW.
As the book goes on the tension could be cut with a butter knife. FINALLY things start happening and holy crap is it really hot and heavy. Heck they haven't even had sex yet and I was panting. WOW!
Just when I think everything is going to be perfect for them, crap hits the fan and I am shocked beyond belief. Things that I did not see coming are happening all at once and I desperately want to hold everyone. Okay mostly Simon. I AM FIRST IN LINE PEOPLE!
The ending was everything - although a little rushed as we skip a few months and then again for the epilogue which is normal. I was absolutely without a doubt in love with the ending as much as I was in love with the whole book.
When it comes to this author duo, I am once again not surprised that I devoured this book as soon as I could. Penelope and Vi are amazing individual authors but together they're a force to be reckoned with and definitely can't be stopped. Nor do I beg them never not too.

Dear Vi and Penelope, I love your books! I love that this one started out hilariously funny and sexy with delightful banter full of sexual innuendo (what do YOU think Simon was talking about in the following quote? It isn’t what you think!!), then turned to sweet and sexy and then moved to touching, thoughtful and swoony.
“More than the tip is in your arse, and it looks like it's got a long shaft.”
Delivered with an effortless pace, a wonderfully developed plot and easy to love characters. I was hooked with their story from the get-go. Simon was irresistibly charismatic with his quick wit, dirty British mouth and big thoughtful heart. Bridget, even though a bit more mature had equally charming personality, easy to relate with.
“I finally realized that I was more afraid of losing you than I was of finding you.”It wasn’t easy for them to find their groove, after all they had very different goals but as some wise person once said “sometimes on the way to the dream you get lost and find a better one.” And I certainly loved the journey these two characters embarked on.
Dear Bridget, I Want You is a standalone romantic comedy by the wonderful duo by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward. It is a fun, sexy and touching story, it's a fast and easy to read with all the feels. A must for Keeland-Ward fans and any romance lover who is looking to get lost in a story that will make you smile and feel. Told from both points of view with a happy ending.
