I remember reading this a lot back in Elementary School. It was always a good escape from reality, and it still is.

Babymouse is a mouse who lives in the "real world" and with a school nemesis of Felicia Cat. However, Babymouse's occasional flights of fancy totally engross my 5yr old and 8yr old girls. Both girls have read the whole series now.

The two books I read usually had Babymouse realize at the end of the story that she is acting badly towards her little brother, Squeak.

Very cute and funny. (When bad things happen, Babymouse says "Typical").

Babymouse and I have a lot in common, except for her love of pink. I love her unique (not annoying) personality and the transition between her imagination and reality.

Now entering the wonderful world of Babymouse! This book contains lots of laughs including a <SPOILER!> homework eating locker, and a funny excuse for being late to class. SPOILER OVER! It was a charming and fun read!

I'm a tutor and I finally found the perfect book for the little girl I tutor. It's beautiful and sassy and about strong friendships and not making fun of people and being true to yourself! It also has a protagonist who reads like crazy and daydreams! Perfect kids book!
