This collection felt more cohesive than the previous one, almost more like a novella than a short story collection. The tone was quite different and Maud a little less feisty perhaps but I still very much enjoyed it.

I liked this one perhaps more than the first one. Definitely read the TWs but don't let them deter you too much. I'd say its HEA- even though it's about Maude. Read them in order, you won't regret it.

This wasn’t as darkly funny as the first book. Some of the turns it took were darker and then surprisingly more heartwarming than I expected. Also, the audiobook reader for this installment was not nearly as good as the reader of the first book. I still enjoyed it but was a little disappointed.
