"The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupery is an allegorical story. It makes the reader think and deals with important themes such as friendship and love, duty and loyalty.
I first read this book as a small child, another time in my teens and now as an adult. I can say that this book is suitable for all ages. Especially because you only understand a lot of things once you have read it several times and can observe your own development.
In the end, the author's famous quote: "All adults were children first, only a few of them remember it."
We should never forget our inner child and never lose it.

A fairytale for adults, because we have all been children once - and exactly the kind of story that just gets better the older you become.
2nd read: 28th May 2020
wait i want to cry
