Reread update on 6/5/2020:
Not much I want to add, other than I'm amused by Kanoko telling Sumika that Hime doesn't "love" anyone other than her, which is a platonic love at this point. I'm amused because Hime clearly does care about others (as I've mentioned before) and it's clear that while Kanoko likes to think that she knows everything about Hime, it's also obvious that she doesn't see how complex Hime is and rather is resting on her laurels as the only person Hime "loves". Just a fun thing I picked up during my reread, which is why I LOVE rereading manga! You always pick up on something new that makes the series that much better! (Or worse, depending on what you're reading).

This was a satisfying conclusion to the drama surrounding Sumika, Kanoko, and Hime. Tachibana's reasons for wanting to keep romance out of the salon was understandable and I liked how she comes across as someone who has to help people, even if they don't want it. She's overbearing but only wants whats best for everyone. While I wasn't surprised that she and Kanoko ended up as Schwesterns, I like why they decided to pair up. Granted, the idea of someone not understanding love teaming up with someone who is in love isn't new, but the reasons why they teamed up seem believable.
I'm glad the final chapter was comical to take the edge off of the copious amounts of drama in the previous chapters (and really all of the last volume) so a little humor went a long way here. The side stories at the end were nice and the extra backstory regarding Nene and Sumika was intriguing. I'm hoping to get more backstory on why Nene chose to continue working at the salon despite everything that happened and am curious as to whether Goeido will make an appearance later on. This was a really good volume that settled the drama in a satisfying way while adding characterization to Sumika as well as providing backstory on the salon's former employees. I'm looking forward to volume 5, I can't imagine what'll happen next!

Bam! Emotions!
I usually wouldn't tell people to wade through 4 volumes to get a proper payoff from something that you would think should be light-hearted and thus, not really need that significant of a pay-off. But in this case it's really worth it if you like the genre. I'm looking forward to see where it continues to go.

Ahh I’m so glad to see more of Sumika and Kanoko!! I’m so happy their dynamic is being built upon.
