I received this book more than a decade ago with my study material. I happen to remember non of it but my wavy underlinings and random scribbles told me that I have flipped the pages of this book before. So, I decided to give it a read. A.P.J Abdul Kalam talks about a vision 2020 for India and while reading this book one can compare his vision with reality, in some aspects it has been accomplished while in others we lack tremendously. But my take from this book is that one always should dream big, beyond their limits as there are non. And there is no obstacle that a human being can't overcome.

A beautiful effort by a great man to show ways for how we all can channelize our energy for a better tomorrow of India. Sometimes it is too vague, sometimes it is practical, but it still lacks concrete steps. Due to immense respect for Kalam, I started and finished it, but expected somewhat more analysis of different systems and thus different actions we can take as individuals (in specific fields).

This book is filled with positive vibes. Throughout, it feels like Kalam is talking to me. It reflects the wisdom and humility of Kalam. It is easy to read and engaging with good and clever storytelling. Also, It focuses on solutions, not problems.
He asks us to dream big, to work in mission mode, and not let India to be reduced to a cheap labour country.

This book was super inspiring! Sir had great visions for our country and believed that the youth of this country could make it all happen. This book should be read by every individual for its simplicity, for the ideas sir explains, for the values and the message this book gives - that each one of us is capable of great things and we should use that capability to ensure our country and society rises above all hatred, obstacles and petty/shallow ambitions. A must-read for people of all ages, especially its target audience - children and the youth.
