Pretty good read. Helped me lots to have something available to read if I had some free minutes as work, so as to keep a steady rhythm.

A nice lil info dump cut in bite-sized pieces, it'll help you a lot in the random trivia department.

Also the cover is super cute.

This is the first book I've read about superstitions and their origin. It was an insightful read. And when I used to read in the dark, sometimes, the constant mentions of the fears that drove to the popularisation of these superstitions spooked me too (even though I'm a horror enthusiast). That's one of the plus points.
Also, some of the texts helped me identify the difference between superstitions that arose from my tradition and the ones that got popular in here because of being colonized by British for so long.

overall it was really cute! but it felt really repetitive at times which was a bit of a bummer.

Like many of the reviews have said it’s really interesting for a snap shot of the superstitions. But, there’s a lot more to delve into and a lot more research and primary sources out there.

This was a very fun read!
I was interested in it because of the title & the lovely cover.
Now there were some superstitions I knew of already but a lot of these, I've never even knew about. I found it very fascinated & I loved the art on the inside. Wouldn't mind reading more work by this author if the writing is the same & interesting art style.
