There are some really neat stories in here, but it's loosely strung together by the author's personal thoughts. It's really just a big novelty book, but a source of entertainment nonetheless.

Oh, this was so good.
It's very tongue-in-cheek, there's quite a bit that might gross some people out, but overall it's a marvellous and entertaining read, that might make you exclaim 'WTF?!' not just once.

I had a fun time with this book. It's funny and weird, but oh boy is it gnarly.

This book is something else! Some things you just can't "un-read"

This is basically a collection of gross, out-dated and peculiar tidbits from medical history grouped into headings such as “Dubious Remedies” and “Remarkable Recoveries.” I thoroughly enjoyed this, although I recommend this only for those with a strong stomach.
