Not bad for a debut!

This had a really interesting premise. I read the blurb and saw 9/11 and I thought it could be a good read. The idea that someone could use a natural/ manmade disaster to fake their death and escape difficult circumstances is not something I can recall reading about but I think this is such a cool idea (for a book not for real life)! I don't think the author completely nailed the story, I think it was a little disjointed and a little far fetched for my liking, but I still had fun reading it.

I liked the protagonist, I think she was a strong and independent woman and I enjoyed following her story. I loved how she wasn't apologetic for who she was she just didn't give a f*ck what people thought about her! I hope we continue to see these kinds of characters from the author in the future. I also loved that she was an Aussie who lived in London, made her very relatable.

I am honestly excited to see what this author does in the future, I think it will be onward and upward for her. I think if she can continue to come up with these kinds of ideas for stories and works on the delivery she could become a favourite!
