Ada and Lothun

This was a fun, sweet, and sexy story. I liked the language barrier and fated mates aspect. Great setup for the next books.

Lothan & Ada: I loved him… She was the worst.

Ada is a captive from Earth on an alien planet where she is placed on the block for auction. An Irran warrior and royalty, Lothan senses her presence as his mate and steals her from the block. Ada is relieved to be rescued. However, she left her sister behind and wants his help in saving her and the other human girls on the ship.

I was very excited about this plot. Lothan was hot and was so humble and would bow to Ada’s feet as his Queen. However, it seemed like any kindness towards her was met with denial and disdain. There was no winning with this woman! Lothan begged her repeatedly throughout this book for her to accept him as her fated mate and she, his fated “Alara” (Queen) and she denied him repeatedly. She didn’t even wanted to be called “Alara”… even when she needed to ask for help. She just got in my nerves. It seemed like all she was focused on was screwing Lothan the entire time. He was in love, she was in lust. She quoted herself correctly by referring to herself as a “space slut”.

When I read books on Fated Mates, I like for both MCs to realize and accept their connection early-midway through the book to provide for an awesome story. Ada didn’t figure this out until the very end of the book and I became bored with her giving the same excuses and denials to her feelings for Lothan throughout. Couple that with the stupid decisions she constantly made, it just ruined the experience for me. This could have been much better.

Happy reading!
