The message he wanted to give is quite clear. If one knows a little about his life, one can say that this book is all about shaping of globalisation at the time the book was written. The symbols which are very strong are the clues for us to understand what a developping country goes through before we see her in the world market.

It is not the same in the constitution of man: the emptier a man’s head is, for instance, the less he feels the thirst to fill it, and that is the one exception to the general rule.

What a beautiful satire!
