Yeesh, what a mess of wasted potential. All the stories in this book are individually interesting, but he never turns them into a cohesive whole. It feels like 3 hours of material for a 10 hour podcast that the creator hasn't quite figured how to turn into a compelling narrative. At the end he halfheartedly sticks a in weak thesis to cap off the book, but it doesn't feel like a thesis we've actually been building towards.

I really loved this and hope Michael Lewis considers writing a full length book.

Lots of important material here and Lewis's incredible talent for storytelling is again on display. However, read more like a draft than a polished work and also like a piece of a larger work. I hope that is true and that the full work will be available in all formats, not just audio like The Coming Storm.
