Read this with Eri and that only enhanced this book for me. Really miss the South--being a Southern Queer is so different and valuable and complex and this book touched on those emotions and so many more. I'm thankful for it.

Both a passionate story about queer communities in conservative towns and cities in America and the authors recounting of her own time spent in these places, this is the only love letter to the US I'm interested at the moment.
