The only reason I gave this book a high of a rating as I did was because I've never read a love story from multiple points of views outside of the actual protagonists. That was a pretty good stylistic choice to make. However, I couldn't stop rolling my eyes throughout the entire thing. Lea and Gabe were completely beyond ridiculous, as was everyone else watching them like a bunch of pathetic people with no lives whatsoever. I mean, I get that Gabe was going through some things, blah, blah, blah, and he was just so shy...GAG! Be a boss, dude! Just tell her your issue and keep it moving; so much ridiculousness could've been avoided if he would've just stopped being a punk. Again, I don't like passive people, especially men. I also found it weird as hell that everybody and their daddy was trying to put these people together, yet it took like a full year for anything remotely interesting to happen. This book is a nice thought, but it just didn't do it for me; like, at all. I'd recommend this to someone that loves sappy romance cause this is just, as my teacher would say, "chewing gum for the eyes."

I worry about the author - this was, at best weirdly unbelievable, and, at worst, wildly creepy. It sounds cute to hear a love story told from the perspective of everyone around them, but what you actually get is a bunch of strangers weirdly obsessed with teens getting together. It’s unreadable. If you liked this book, I worry about you.

This was so weirdly written, including a POV as a bench! And a squirrel! But it made me laugh and despite it's predictability, I found it to be quite cute. Definitely more of an easy read for a lazy day :-)

Assolutamente tenero, dolcissimo, uno dei miei "libri cupcake". Sicuramente uno dei miei preferiti di quest'anno.

This was an awesome, unique and lovely book. I am really happy that I had the chance to read it.

Let's just start with what makes it unique. We have ~14 POVs and the main characters aren't one of those. Those 14 POVs are how we learn and see our main characters. Each POV has something to do with the pair. We have a bus driver who sees them often on his line, a bench (yes, a bench!), friends, and a few other characters.

I really loved seeing the story unfold, the 2 main characters slowly getting together, friendship to love. It was super adorable and I really enjoyed it. Of course I was sometimes hoping we would get a POV from the main characters, just to see things from their perspective.

My favourite POVs would be the Bench and the Squirrel. Give voice to those who normally don't speak is really fun and creative and I just had so many laughs while reading those 2 POVs. Even my boyfriend (I read these parts aloud to him) had a few laughs and found it all fun.

I loved how the romance started off slowly and then grew and grew. It was really realistic, unlike so many books where characters just fall instantly in love without anything happening beforehand. This is really a breath of fresh air.

All in all I would truly recommend this book. You will love it, adore and want more books from this author. :)

told from 14 different POVs (that includes a squirrel, a bench, a barista, a waitress, a Chinese food delivery guy etc. basically ppl around Lea and Gabe) but NOT Lea and Gabe themselves, this book is gold. How the author managed to pull it off is something I can't even comprehend.

If the book is told in its traditional way, I don't think it would be that cute. Might even be a little bit dull. And when i say cute, I actually mean SUPER CUTESY ADORABLE I PRACTICALLY SWOON.

I love Maxime the waitress, Charlotte the barista, Sam the brother, Bob the bus driver and Casey the friend the most!!!!
