I really enjoyed Kane and Ivy‘s story. Usually I‘m not a big fan of age gap but Kennedy Fox did a good job with this one! It was sweet, steamy and dreamy. There were some scenes I couldn‘t get behind but otherwise I liked it alot!

Their writing is good and it flows easily through the story. The characters are always amazing and you can always feel what they are feeling

The eighth book in the Circle B Ranch series finally gets to Kane’s story, which I was so thrilled to get my hands on. It focuses on his relationship with Ivy, his best friend/sister-in-law/former love interest Hadleigh’s younger sister. It’s a story of what happens when someone finally gets a chance with their long-time crush, and it absolutely does not disappoint!

I’ve been impatiently waiting for this book, and I’m so pleased with how Kane and Ivy’s story turned out. I love how hard sweet little bookworm Ivy crushed on Kane for years and how she finally catches his eye. She’s likeable and relatable in the sense that she’s got her insecurities and flaws, but then she’s got so much sass and personality, too. Her character was perfect for Kane, who I had a feeling would fall hard in love when he finally met the right woman. Having already known his character a bit from the previous books, I figured he would be as charming and affable as I already knew him to be, but I was not prepared for how much I adored his character. He’s spicy and sweet, but then he’s also so kind and compassionate and has an artistic flair, which I thought just added so much depth to Kane. Despite their age difference, Kane and Ivy work so well together, but their relationship isn’t without its issues at times. They’ve got a lot to deal with as far as their being together goes, and that added tension aided in making this story utterly addictive.

Then there’s the secondary cast of characters at the ranch, and they are simply so good! I enjoyed getting moments with everyone we’ve met before in the previous books, and their placement in the book pushed the narrative forward in a seamless way. My favorite out of all of them is Kaitlyn, though. She’s hysterical! I don’t think her character means to be so funny, but she just is and that makes her even better. Her and Payton’s book is next, and I’m beyond excited for it.

While this book is part of a series, it can be read as a standalone, but I think you’ll want to read the others because they’re all so well written and nobody writes cowboy romance the way Kennedy Fox do. Tempting the Cowboy is a definite must read for any romance book lover, and I cannot wait to see what happens with Kaitlyn and Payton.

I feel like there needed to be a bit more time for them to grow as a couple.

After Claiming the Cowboy, I knew I was going to love Kane Bishop. In this book we got to know him a little more as a sweet, gentle, but dirty talking lover that will absolutely make you swoon. I wasn’t sure if this was going to feel like a case of “If I can’t have the woman I love, then I’ll have her sister” but this couldn’t be further from the truth!

Kane and Ivy developed their own relationship that was nothing like what Kane and Hadleigh’s friendship had. I loved how sweet Kane was with Ivy but also how kinky/dirty he was. And Ivy’s inexperience did not stop any of their adventures.

Sometimes keeping your relationship a secret is the thing that may cause it to end. Will Ivy be able to realize that Kane is trustworthy? Or will their secrets cause an end to everything beautiful they built?

I loved Kane’s book! It was everything I thought it’d be & so much more. Ivy was so incredibly sweet & I loved how she was a booktrovert!

Kane comes off as kind of a play boy in the other books IMO but in this one we got the real vision of him; sweet, attentive, thoughtful, & loving. He was perfect for Ivy & vice versa.

Another amazing book by Kennedy Fox!!

this was a quick and easy romance read. it’s an age gap and he’s a cowboy (please don’t judge me for reading a book with a half naked man on the cover, it came in my book box
