I really liked this book. I took off a star for personal preference stuff. 
*super mild spoilers ahead*



1. I’m burnt out on the “meta rom com” stuff. Don’t start a rom com with “real life isn’t a rom com” only for it to be the same rom com it was poo pooing
2. The 3rd act shenanigans. Not quite a 3ABU, but…

This one wasn’t for me - reasons are spoilers so stop reading if you don’t want to know. This story was fine for me - until we got near the end.

Noelle learns that Theo lost his job at the company he started. She immediately drops everything and goes to him. To be there for him and support him through something that’s very hard for him? Nope! To start a fight with him about why he didn’t open up to her more and tell her what was going on. I agree that’s a conversation that eventually had to happen but having it at that second felt so immature and selfish. And even her decision to make up with him happened because she wanted to share her new job joys. It’s not ALL about you Noelle!!! Ugh.
