This series is more fully enjoyed when read in order, but the story is a stand alone.

I could go on and on about how much I love Ms. Roberts and everything she writes. I could gush about her fabulous characters that both break your heart and make you giggle throughout the entire book. I could praise her steamy scenes and the way she portrays her Daddies and Littles in the most fierce and touching ways. I could describe the excitement that I get when I know she's close to releasing another book that I won't be able to put down. I could talk about this stuff all day long and never tire of encouraging everyone to read her books. She is a master at her craft and I know quite a few people who push everything aside to devour her words. These are the reasons you should read her all of her books.

The reasons, other than those listed above, for why you should read this one are that Markovich is finally getting his Little, and she's perfect even if she is a little broken. And Dahlia is finally going to fit all her pieces back together and find the happiness she deserves. There aren't as many interactions with other characters from the previous books, but this one provides some long awaited answers. It also provides some new questions and takes things I thought I knew and tosses them on their head. It's also a sort of jumping point for a whole new series that I can't wait to read.

The only warning you need is that if you have ever suffered trauma and experienced a panic attack you may be living those moments again through Dahlia's eyes. They are depicted in almost the exact way I experienced them and the memory was difficult. Not difficult enough to make me put down the book because I knew Dahlia would come out on top, but still painful and heartbreaking.

Good addition to the series

Dehlia was a great new addition to the story. just the right personality for her daddy. With the story being as long as it was, I felt a little disappointed with the end of Mr. X. There was also very little of the previous little and overall it felt rushed at the end.

A great book about a Little with extra needs.

Unlike the rest of the MC Daddies books this one actually takes place outside of the MC club and whilst Reyes is briefly mentioned the focus is mainly on Markovich and his men.

One of the main things I really enjoyed about this book is the fact that Dahlia the Little has a lot of extra issues. Whilst all the Littles in the MC Daddies series have some kind of trauma or past issue none of them have issues to the extent of Dahlia. Dahlia has a lot of sensory issues that apply to everything from people touching her to the clothing that she wears and a struggle to eat too. She has panic attacks and OCD tendencies that lead to harming herself. It was wonderful to read the ways in which her issues were handled. Markovich was so gentle and patient with her and the writing used to describe both her feelings and how their actions affected her was wonderfully done. In a Daddy/Little relationship where caregiving is a main aspect it was important to see how those sensory issues were dealt with.

As with all MC Daddies books there were some twists and very unexpected turns that all added to the drama. A few of the sideline characters such as Gray were really well written and I’d love to read more about him.

4.5 stars. This is the 8th book in the MC Daddies Series by Laylah Roberts. This book is a slow burn through most of the book. The FMC is quirky and likable and the MMC is a morally gray character that is popular in romance right now. The age play in this book is quite limited, so if that is not your cup of tea then you will like that it is toned down in this book. As usual Ms. Roberts' side characters are wonderfully fleshed out and leave you wanting their stories. As for the end of the book, it is not a cliffhanger because the current story comes to the end, it is clearly the setup for the next book in this series.

Mr. (Dimitri) Markovich has dedicated himself to finding who killed his wife and stole his daughter while he was in prison. There is no time for anything else. Dahlia slaps a poisoned drink from his hand and later prevents him from being shot. She is just trying to get by and live life. She can’t help that bad things always happen to her.

Love! So happy Markovich gets a happy ending. He’s so cold and unforgiving except to those he loves. Dahlia is so sweet, she deserves all the love he has to give. This was so worth the wait!
