This remembrance by Amy Bloom a mother wife grandmother MSW therapist and writer is very intimate personal of the year that her be loved husband‰ЫЄs Alzheimers came to him and was realized by her after seeing neurologist and she began and completed his wish to end his life. This happens in Zurich where he had been accepted after long detailed demanding process conducted by S and others at Dignitas. She includes many people in this telling her family his family those in his life before alzheimers Doctors . Its both painful and beautiful book a gem

This was a heartbreaking one - about dealing with Alzheimer’s, death, and the inevitable grief that comes afterwards. Sometimes it came a bit too close to home and it became very emotional.
