It felt a bit "Forest Gump-y" at times, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but the plot was not 100% original in its conflicts, etc. Overall, it was so cute though!

I really enjoyed this novel. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about a story told through other views but it's done very well. There are multiple viewpoints (about three per "story") but characters return and it's easy to keep track of the different characters. It's well written without being pretentious or full of itself. None of the characters feel out of touch but all relatable in their own way.

This book was so cute. I love the way it is written in the points of view around Weylin. In a way it just shows us how he is affecting people. This love story between Weylin and Mary was tragic and beautiful and the ending was everything i needed it to be.
