This was utterly adorable.

Was it predictable, yes. Was all of the stolen moments together, the looks, the light touches, the moments of happiness together and then slowly coming to the realisation they were falling in love with eachother just cute perfection, yes. Was there any smut, LMAOO NO, this is as closed door as close door gets. But was the way they stood up for eachother and came together at the end just, yet again, adorable. Yes.

The pretentious characters from 1812 made me roll my eyes but the couple of good people on this story made my heart happy. I wanted to punch Charlie in the face with him and his stupid mastache, what an absolute dickhead.

All in all, it’s what you expect, a cute fluffy read. With a dabble of fancy dresses and balls.

Cute and fun read with fluffy romance, but poor historical accuracy and little research done. Not a good but, but enjoyable.

Audrey Cameron finds herself in a rut after being dumped by her highschool sweetheart and then wait-listed at her dream art school. She's resigned herself to working at her parents' convenience store--at least until she's unexpectedly transported to 1812 Regency England. There she meets Lucy Sinclair, whose father is forcing her into a marriage with the horrible Mr. Caldwell. Lucy dreams of a life where she isn't beholden to the will of her father, and when Audrey appears on her family's estate she discovers a newfound sense of freedom. As the girls try to find a way to send Audrey back home, they find themselves falling for each other instead of their suitors.

A regency era romance, time travel, a bisexual awakening, and an ending that left me feeling warm and fuzzy; needless to say, I loved this book. Told from alternating POVs, I enjoyed getting to know Audrey and Lucy as well as the cast of side characters. It was a beautiful romance and one that I would reread without hesitation.

This is possibly the most romantic book I've read all year. I loved everything about it except the ending, which was possibly a little too cute for my tastes.

I can't wait to read more by this author.
