This was a new experience for me as I "read" the audiobook version. I'm still not quite sure how I feel about this...
It has been 10+ years since I first visited Hogwarts and wished I received my letter of invitation and I have to say there were parts of this book that still gave me chills. The boy who lived and his companions definitely has a forever home in my heart. I thoroughly enjoy the setting of this series and how the different characters evolve over the course of the years. I also can't believe how I forgot over the years how deeply I just LOVE Hagrid with his huge heart.
I wouldn't go as far as to rate it a 5...after all these years, but a solid 4.5 for me.

Every time I read this book, I get a good feeling in my chest. Love it and will always love it.
Really funny as well. Ron, and Harry had some amazing one liners. And of course Fred and George.
Also, comparing it to the movie, it’s very accurate. I’m glad they did a good job.

separating the author from this, this story is just a warm hug. so well written, a journey from start to finish, and an important book in literature. the tale still holds true 25 years later, i’m glad to have picked up the series again nearly 10 year since my last read through!
