I reread this book every few years, and I love it just as much as I did the first time. It's fairly light reading, but Schoemperlen manages to work in a lot of history and some interesting theological tidbits.

For those with an interest in h/History, this is a fantastic exploration of the philosophy of history from a literary perspective.
