Franco writes a beautiful book exploring modern day friendship. She covers conflict, generosity, and miscommunications. It was a great read that you can apply to your everyday life as you also navigate friendships. Friendship is often over looked but can be the source of a happy long life.

A really great look into developing, maintaining, and prioritizing platonic relationships. The author does a good job of sharing stories, lessons, and direct applications. Building and growing community as an adult in 2023 is really hard, but there is so much value in fostering relationships and investing in platonic relationships.

Excellent explanation of different types of friendships, reactions, and bonds between people. Enlightening look at how I approach my friendships that gave me a deeper understanding of why some of my friends do the things they do. My only complaint is that the book became a bit repetitive and redundant in the latter half, and I would have appreciated a bit more data beyond anecdotes.

This was a slow start for me, but I'm glad I stuck with it. It felt like the book picked up about a third of the way through and has some good takeaways. Overall a good read.
