Interessantes Verständnis von Göttern und der Welt. Liebenswerte Charaktere. Zu konfus für meinen Geschmack.

i had very mixed feelings on this book.

on one hand, the plot was really goof and entertaining but i didn’t really like the writing. i didn’t get overly attached to any of the characters or anything. it was like… fine. it was ok. i don’t know, i don’t know how to feel

Holy crap. So good. I cried when I finished it. I was enthralled from beginning to end.

Was this fanfiction of Spirited Away? Yes. Did I love it? Also yes.
The writing was very good and the story was original enough, even if the themes seemed awfully familiar.

Yes, this sort of reminded me of Spirited Away, I can't lie. (Maybe a sprinkle of Howl's Moving Castle too.) It has inspired me to read more into Korean mythology though also. I wanted more of the story. There were sometimes where I was confused, or felt things weren't exactly clear, but I was eagerly reading the whole time. Stayed up until 1am to finish this too.
