Lighthearted and fun! I thoroughly enjoyed Agatha and Penelope as a couple and loved their relationship development. You saw the entire progression of strangers to friends to lovers. There weren’t  many steamy scenes, but the ones we had were v good. The focus of the book was very much on the relationship development and the town. The relationship development was top tier. It was very slow and sweet, and I loved it. It’s so nice to read about such a healthy and loving relationship!! And I think this is the first book I’ve read where the characters are older adults and have grown up kids!

It did drag a little in the middle, but the characters and the fast paced ending made up for it. This is a great low-angst, slice of life sapphic romance that is so sweet!
