3.5 stars. Was excited for this arc but it just didn’t quite hit the mark for me. Intrigued by Binary, so we’ll see how that develops.

Captain Marvel story is expanding and I am becoming a big fan of her comics and her character.. When I saw that this has to do about all the Marvels I was hesitant that the the focus will be only on them then Carol Danvers who this comic is about. But it was not each character had their input in the story but did took the focus off Carol Danvers. The only thing that still confuse me is the new character that is binary an alternative version of Carol Danvers power. It seems she is sentient now and a character of her own. Lastly something is bothering me supposedly how strong is this Binary character now? Its is stated that she has the powers of the phoenix force and i presume mar-vell. Hope to be able to read the next installment of this series because I believe that the next volume is about Carol use of magic to take away Oves magic and has to answer to the magical community for it and the new character binary is going to take the helm on helping people in New York while she is trapped in the magical prison.

Loved the involvement of all the Marvels and also including/re-introducing Binary as a separate character!

This felt so epic omg!

Spoiler So it starts with Rhodey and Carol vacationing until they fight a sludge monster only to find that its taken the form of some evil version of carol (from the last avenger arc) and thus she has to fight them and she sees its targeting people who have shared her mantle before and thus its an inter planetary trip to some place after her friends get captured and she has to fight Vox supreme and more people there, revelations and a whole more fights later and explanations and the splitting with Binary and then the coming of Avengers and Guardians and a big fight later with the predictable ending and a massive reveal in the end also and some interesting status quo changes!

So its an okayish book by the end but starts off pretty strongly and you feel the tension like the guy who we are thinking is back, is he back and all the dilemmas and really I love the way the previous stories inform this one as we move towards the main crux of the conflict and the coming of Vox-supreme and these sludge aliens and yeah we dont get the answer to what they are but I think it was more about the threats they represented to Carol's friend and how she fights them off. Its an interesting dilemma and just feels like the start of a long story and I like the inclusion of Binary and it will be interesting to explore her in future volumes plus the art was so epic and cute, I loved it nd the team up in the end! <3!
