How freaking cute is this? Honestly could've read a full-length version with these characters with all the pining and flirting ahhhhhhhh. The only thing I didn't care for (besides the length) was the ending felt a little cheesy but everything else was gold.

I thought for a novella this was great. I actually really liked the characters and the story line. I wish this was a full length novel.

Short, snappy and sweet novella. No spoilers.

The plot - it’s like an action, special agent romance vibes. Very fast paced, 70 pages at most so you just get the vibes of the characters. Workplace romance, obviously. It’s not really a HEA because it’s an inkling of what’s to come, but I suppose you could leave it here. There is smut, like 2/5 on the spice scale.

The MC - Lily is our technical analyst type person in the office for our special agents. I love her, she’s plus sized with a touch of insecurity, and she loves our boy Dylan so all is well.

The male counterpart - Dylan is our special agent out in the field who has the hots for our FMC. He’s a protector, but he is also a lover and I adore that about him.
