I don't know why, but when I picked the book up. I thought I was going to read a stereotypical romance novel, but no this is a thriller. I wished there has been a happy ending for Catherine. I wanted her to end up with William so bad. Although I feelt very sorry for Noelle she got what she put this on herself and as for Larry, well, he had it coming all along. The whole book I hoped that Noelle would get the help wheel needed and turn her life around. When Catherine was in College and they mentioned the thing about her being a lesbian, I got really excited because I thought that her and Noelle would end up together. That would have been such a great plot What I will say is that you can definitely tell that a man has written these female characters. It just feels ood at times and some views are just incredibly sexist.
