i hated just about every part of this book, and would have dnf’d if it weren’t for a book club. all the “case files” truly read like the reddit creepypasta they were based off of, and not in a good way. i didn’t find the therapist believable or likable, and mostly felt this book did more harm to people with mental disorders than anything else.

Honestly, this is way more than a 5 star for me. I don’t remember exactly where I heard about this title but it’s been on my Amazon wishlist for months. Finally, I caved and read it on KU. I read this entire book in under 4 hours and not once did I understand where it was going. There are so many twists and turns and it’s so confusing. But the author is amazing at making it an enjoyable journey.

MUST READ! I was interested just because of the title. I couldn’t put it down. It’s only 150 pages. I have ADHD. So to finish this in 2 days is a big deal. WOW!

A very interesting set of short stories; that link together. More on the darker side this book has an interesting narrative that is easy to read.

What in God’s name did I just read.

I know it’s fiction but by god, I don’t think I’ve read a book like this that is such a car-crash of a book. It’s so far fetched, so confusing, and just downright weird how the book is presented and laid out. It’s hard to follow and at times doesn’t even make sense.

As someone whose studied psychology, I usually let a lot of misconceptions slide about psychology and therapy and how it all works, but I was in pain reading this - i understand it’s supposed to be a quick, short, dark read but it was just so outrageously incorrect, so bad that I just couldn’t believe what I was reading. 

The only reason it even got a rating from me because it make me laugh so hard due to it being so far fetched and unreal that I could do nothing but laugh at it.
