This was pretty entertaining, I read it all in one sitting. This is the first comic I’ve read from Jhonen Vasquez, whom I knew beforehand as the creator of Invader Zim, a show that I liked. Honestly, the type of humor wasn’t really my cup of tea, I mean, I understand exaggerated cartoon violence and works that don’t take themselves seriously, but that doesn’t mean that’s an excuse to make repetitive and flat jokes over and over again… (Even Jhonen, in cartoon form, acknowledges this).
It’s sometimes hit-or-miss… Actually, speaking of Jhonen Vasquez, the self-deprecating humor in the panels featuring the caricature of him were also hit-or-miss, but at least they were a little bit funnier.
The last volume of Filler Bunny was the only one actually worth my time, to be honest.
There’s a good concept here, such as Filler Bunny being created in a lab solely to entertain the audience, but it really only delves into that in the last volume, which is a shame.
Despite this, however, eh… what the hell, Filler Bunny was tortured for this, so I’ll give the poor guy a bone.
I usually like to be more elaborate in my reviews but… do you really expect me to write that for Filler Bunny? I think I’ll put the same amount of effort that was put in the book into my review, so whatever.

Why am I always the sucker who thinks Filler Bunny will eventually not be tortured? Sigh.
