It took about half the book for the story to get started and then it moved SO fast. Kinda like these 2 who had so much sex I wondered how they had time to eat or breathe.

Oh and since when do emergency rooms have doors for each bed? They just have curtains and you can't knock. That part made no sense.

Yaaaasssss! I loved this!

I typically don't do gay romance. I've done lesbian romance, and straight romance so this was different for me but I truly enjoyed it. And jeez Liam sounded hot!

4.5 stars from me

Sweet and steamy for the most part while dealing with cheating, domestic violence etc. The bi representation, I hated.

I enjoyed this book. It was sweet and despite the somewhat serious topic towards the end not too angsty. Liam and Jon were great together and I loved how their relationship changed from flirtatious and casual to romantic and serious. The sex was hot and steamy but a bit repetitive. Craig, Jon's ex, was a selfish, self-centered prick and got exactly what he deserved. Listening to the audio book it was at times difficult to discern who was speaking.

LA Witt is fast becoming my favorite M/M romance author. The characters are always credible and interesting, the stories are always engaging, the romance is actually romantic and the sex hot and plentiful. A perfect blend of fantasy and reality. Even the dialogue's good!

Great start to this series

There's some seriously douchey behaviour in this one as both MCs have truly horrible exes but thankfully all turns out well in the end.

I loved  Jon and Liam and, while they both seemed to me to be younger in my head than their stated ages, they had a wonderful dynamic together.

The sex is scorching hot as I'd expect and, while there's a fair bit of it in a relatively short novella, none of it felt out of place.

It also has a super sweet epilogue.

I enjoyed this book. I haven't enjoyed everything I have read of LA Witt (I have only tried a few of her multitudinous output) but this was very nice. Nice guys, good plot - a bit snortingly amused at how the ex's manifest inadequacies were depicted in the story.
I thought the domestic violence stuff was done okay.

I'll have a look at the next book in the series.

oh, my spoiler cody thing worked! Cool! I've never done that before.

Edited to Add:
I skipped the next book in the series because I didn't want to read about the dudes being horrible to each other. But I have read all the other books in the series, including the two written with Voinov, and they are really really good. I highly recommend this series!
