3.5

It’s military sci-fi, so it’s heavy on the action, which is not my cup of tea. That doesn’t mean that it’s bad for its genre, I can recognise that it’s a good book! The dialogue was interesting af though and I couldn’t wait for the meetings and the Commander drama!
Possitive things about the book:
Likeable main character, women in high military/political positions, very good atmosphere and well though out battles.
Negative things about the book:
Lacking character appearance descriptions, predictable/standard motif of event structure, absence of a map of solar systems that the fleet is traveling through, lacking images of the formations (integral imo as there are commands given about positions that are hard to keep up with if i don’t understand what the initial position is to begin with).
