When you’re not happy in your own skin, it can make you feel bad and then that can make you act in bad ways too. But does it always have to be like that? Can you change? Are you allowed to change?
Exploring the themes of identity, transition, and acceptance. It can sometimes be difficult, but ultimately being yourself is worth it.
Explained in a straight-forward and insightful way for kids, with great illustrations.
There is enough ‘story’ to keep younger children interested, but provides a talking point and introduction into discussions around the themes addressed.
The book also gives nice insights into life cycles and traits of other animals in a bid to explain change and transitions.
Bursting with positivity and a great message for kids 4+
Thank you Edelweiss+ for the e-arc.
