Overall, it was a fun, fast read. The theme is quite interesting and its fun to see all the F1 related content and see how much and how little it has changed.

I hated most of this mainly because I don't like cheating stories. I enjoy the banter, but I really can't get past the cheating. Will's death also seemed kinda "for the plot" only thing. I'm still having mixed emotions with this one. Maybe a reread is needed to properly evaluate this. I'll update my rating if I do reread this.

Not to my liking. I felt that the story drag too long and geez girl, that guy had a girlfriend..back off.

Oh and plot twist!

I always thought she would end up with Luis from the start so yeah. I don’t feel the spark between her and Will.

This took me ages to read.

I was so there for this romance and then tragedy happens and I was like nope nope. I'm not in the mood.

Its still a nice ending its just sad at the same time.

I find the plot to be engaging. Formula 1 as a theme for a story is very new and fresh, even though this was published years ago. I have never come across a book that explores the world of Formula 1 in such detail and feels kind of realistic in a way. However, I find the pace too achingly slow, to the point that I have lost interest, especially in the first part—I just skimmed it, tbh.
There was a big twist in it that really shocked me, but I just wonder: is it really necessary? because in the latter part of the book, I find the consequences of the occurrences lacking in depth
. idk, but it feels like the author rushed through the aftermath of the twist. As for the characters in this book, they all lack nuance, and they are all unlikeable except for Daisy's Italian grandmother. Overall, I would recommend the book if you're into Formula 1 (like me) and for the romance and cute moments in it, I guess.
