I definitely didn’t read this to get out of my reading slump. That’s just crazy talk I would never do that. Anyways Winry 🥹🥹🥹. I just love how the scene where
she failed to take the shot at Scar
was handled. Like
no she couldn’t kill him because that’s not who she is and that’s okay! Not every story has to be a revenge story! Also the slight (read: Wirny literally says she’s in love with Ed) Winry x Ed details were neat!
Also not gonna lie at one moment I was like wait where’s Fu? And then I was like
oh wait isn’t he dead? but apparently at this point he’s not but he does die eventually so. There’s that.
And to conclude, WHAT DO YOU MEAN ED’S DAD IS HOMUNCULUS????

Fullmetal Alchemist is the story of the Alphonse and Edward Elric. Ed is the youngest state alchemist, probably ever, and Al is trapped inside a suit of metal armour. Together they are on a mission to get back their original bodies. This is one of my favorite anime series and I'm really enjoying reading the manga now.
In this volume, the brothers have teamed up with Prince Lin and Co. to set a trap for the homunculus. But can you really trap a homunculus? And if you do trap one, what do you do with it? King Bradley and Scar also make an appearance for a truly action packed volume!
So far it feels the anime has stayed true to the manga as nothing in the manga has felt new, but I love how it's done.
The main thing that you get from reading vs watching the anime is the extra tidbits at the end including some great jokes about Al storing kittens in his armour.
