OMG... The suspense is killing me

I hate cliffhangers to no end. SK lessly sure knows how to weave a suspenseful story. The mystery behind what was going on and who wanted to kill Josh and why had my nerves frayed to bits trying to figure it out. I just love Shane and Misti's trying to work their way through their feelings for each other. Both of them are totally in love with each other but too afraid of what the possible rejection or possible break up would do to each other. Slowly, that protective wall is being eroded to where they can't stand being away from each other. To me, they are the most erotically connected couple I've ever read. Their developing relationship alone is worth rereading this book again and again. Great job SK Lessly, this was truly an enjoyable book.

Grace Michelle “Misty” King has been a big part of the Cooper family for years, but she never expected her crush on the second son, Shane Marcello Cooper, to come of anything. That is until Shane realizes that Misty has been what he’s wanted this whole time.

This book drags like you wouldn’t believe. Like, maybe there’s a reason for it, but if the next book doesn’t deliver then this one is a total waste.

Grace and Shane are actually an interesting couple despite their fumbling towards a relationship. However this non-linear timeline is not adding to the story the way it should.

The only returning couple is Kenya and Josh from the first Obsession, but you figure by the end that Kenya is the cause of her own problems. She’s really not doing enough to keep herself out of trouble - like actively telling the truth to people who could deal with it. I’m convinced that S. K. Lessly means to kill her off.

Again, I only recommend this book to people who are already invested in the series. There was a lot of eye rolling on my part, and a lot of questions too.
