I only got to 90% but I'm still counting this as read because it was a CHORE to get to 90%. Honestly, this writing was shit. There were words missing, tense changed, actions repeated literally within seconds as if the author stopped writing and then picked it back up only to forget what she'd written, she couldn't remember the 2nd book ending in August and started this one in July only for it to be later plotwise, and the goddamn misspellings were killing me!
It's CUE, not QUEUE! You CUE the music while you're waiting in a QUEUE for a coffee.
Not to mention Persephone's whole entire personality did a complete 180 between book 2 and book 3. She was 100% INSUFFERABLY in book 2 and somehow she became this meek and mild 'Whatever you want, Hades' BS in this one while simultaneously trying to be badass. Yeah, I was confused, too. Not to mention her APOLOGIZING for being triggered to her attempted rape while she and Hades were getting it on for the umpteenth time. Like, homegirl straight up apologized for her reaction and genuinely worried that Hades didn't want her anymore because he fucking distanced himself from her! Not a good look, Hades. Sorry your fucktoy has some mental health issues and can't just suck your cock like always and honestly needs more than your dick to cure her.
Speaking of Hades, he couldn't show up in one scene without fucking. I lost track of how many sex scenes there were. I love me some spicey books but this was literally porn without plot and the sex scenes were just gratuitous. WHO GOES TO A HOUSE WARMING PARTY OF YOUR FRIEND AND FUCKS IN THEIR BATHROOM!?!
There's literally nothing redeeming about this book.

They are fighting. Every. 10. Pages. I am so over this story, I had to fight hard to even finish the book, only to find out, it's not the final one? Like, there's a cliffhanger???
The way the issues of the characters are dealt with drives me insane, like they argue about him not telling her something every single chapter but nothing changes, ever. And the way she just casually addresses that he's an alcoholic??? Like I get that there are more pressing matters happening atm but hello?? She's not even that concerned or worked up about it. I don't really get them anymore tbh.
Also, there is so little plot happening over several chapters (basically most of the book) and suddenly everything is happening too fast with way less details than required to actually make me care. At least the smut is kind of okay, although it becomes a bit repetitive over the course of the book (like I can read about them fucking on their bed and in the bathing rooms only so many times before I just start skimming - also, they bathe like three times a day??).
Hermes and Apollo really carried this book, I don't know if I could have finished it without them appearing from time to time.

Pacing was strange, things just seemed to happen to the characters for no reason, scenes were rushed. Least favorite of the three books I've read, however, the end goal, main villains were more pronounced and obvious than the second of this series.
