I found this book pretty hard to get through. Not because it was bad, but because in the middle I just really didn’t care what was happening. I will say, the end picks up and becomes more engaging, and in a surprising way that I did not expect. I was fully prepared to give this a 3 but I do actually like the way the end ticks up, though maybe I like it because it wasn’t what I was expecting. I will definitely read the last book, but I’m not convinced this series needs to be as long as it is.
