Pros: Cool alien/monster things; good look at Nine's Time-War trauma and how it's changed him; Captain Jack carries the humor with his usual pansexuality

Cons: Too much UNIT (I just don't love the politics of UNIT and ongoing interactions between them and the Doctor) but if you like Third era, lots of Earth and lots of UNIT this storyline is probably for you.

There was plenty of good art and funny moments to carry this one, though

Cliff hangers are evil - if the next issue was no part of the bundle you bought.

For my first foray into comics, I really enjoyed this. Of course, I loved the fact that this featured characters from my beloved show, a large part of what I enjoyed. I wish that my library had had more volumes so that I could have read this one after the volume that contains the story immediately preceding the first story in this bind up.
Hopefully as I read and review more comics I will hone my skill in reviewing.

I can't believe TV deprived me of seeing Jack meet 1970s UNIT.
