I much preferred the first book, this one seemed way to verbose and took a long time to get into the action.

A good sequel
A likable couple, Rayne and Sadie struggle to come to terms with their relationship. This is done in a way that feels real and believable, even though I spent the whole book wishing they would just embrace their true feelings and desires for one another and quit dragging their feet. This book wraps up the conflict nicely but still hints at a plot for book three.

I really enjoyed this book, i read a lot of romances that deal with the fantastical elements of the world, and this was the first book that i have read where the people whi have these gifts use it for the greater good. We don't have a heronine who is weak, but one who is styrong enough to realize that sometimes she does need help and isn't afraid to ask for it.
