Excellent book! Might have to practice a few times before reading it aloud because one or two words or tongue twisters. lol. Fun, fun book for toddlers and up.

Lots of crazy vocabulary in this one, yet somehow it's still appropriate for toddlers! Bright illustrations are a perfect compliment to what isn't really a story line, but more a comparison of the characteristics of different animals. Still, the toddlers will enjoy the comparisons and the preK crowd will enjoy saying the big words with the reader so this will make a nice addition to a story time about size.

Toddler storytime on opposites. Only read the big/small and fast/slow pages. Great vocab. Good clear photos.

Cute book--great way to teach adjectives (including comparative and superlative forms), as well as connecting it to library reference materials, i.e. the thesaurus and synonyms. Can't wait to use this in a library lesson with my students!

What a great vocabulary lesson. Each page has animals and they are either fast, or sleepy, etc.  Then they give you other ways to say the same thing.
