First of all, Teo is an absolute psychopath. Throughout the entirety of this book, my mind was completely wrecked and I just kept thinking, ‘this man is a psychopath who genuinely thinks what he’s doing is out of the goodness of his heart’ think Joe Goldberg amped up to one hundred. The writing was intense, it kept me on the edge of my seat but it irritated me the entire time and there were points I’m surprised I didn’t toss this book against the wall and scream at the top of my lungs, especially due to the last two chapters of the book. A classic abduction thriller turned on its head, and some parts made me cringe out of pure disgust, but I absolutely loved every second of this incredibly wild ride.

the whole book is just filled with Teo’s delusions and it’s honestly disgusting and insane which is the point… but it was just not a fun or a good read. i was really trying to hold out for a beautiful line or something meaningful but it just got progressively worse and i honestly would not recommend this to anyone. it is a rly easy book to read though and in the beginning you do get kind of swept up in it but the first chunk of the book is way better than the rest of it.Graphic: Kidnapping, Physical abuse, Emotional abuse, and Murder

my nightmare vacation-airport-plane ride book. freaked me out and felt like I would go into cardiac arrest reading the last fifth of the book. gave me nausea but that might have been because I had too much coffee and was hungry reading the book content. thanks.
