ugh. okay. here’s the friggin deal.
i hated this ending LOLOL GUYS!
first off - TOO. EASY.
second - TOO. MANY. THINGS. HAPPENING
thirdly - CON. FU. SING.
fourth - so many things felt so unnecessary and rushed and i’m so disappointed!
but i did like the series and i would probably still recommend, but i would be up front and say that this fourth book severely let me down (and i understand now why other reviews were saying the same).
dang rip hush hush

Okay I don't think I was expecting that ending.. What an amazing conclusion to the Hush Hush series. Honestly, I think the final book is my favourite... I wish there was more of Scott though... But I'm not complaining!

oh my god, this book made me cry at the end. I never expected my favorite character to die at the end :( I loved the tension and the excitement that the book had to put me through. I have to say, I will never forget this great novel, even though it was boring at some parts, some parts were exciting. ugh, I don't know what to say :( I am sad about finishing it. I guess i'll have to reread next year.

What it's about: The final installment in Becca Fitzpatrick's Hush Hush saga.
What I thought: This review has taken a long time for me to write, because I was just honestly not able to put my thoughts into words. I'm not even sure I still can. Ever since Hush Hush, I have loved this series. I was expecting big, exciting things for the series finale, and while there were some interesting twists, this book just fell short. Honestly, I mean, C'mon. For me, everything got tied off nicely. After 4 books, and so much pain and anguish, I hate for the story to end so perfectly.
In Finale, we see the battle between the Nephilim and the Fallen Angels, both trying to exert dominance and it's a tedious process, trying to watch it all come together. Patch and Nora get their happy ending, and that's all that really matters, isn't it?
The Good: There were some good unexpected twists.
The Bad: It fell short for me. I really do hate to say it.

Pierwszą część czytałam kilka lat temu i wtedy nie mogłam się wciągnąć w drugi tom, teraz zrobiłam reread 1 tomu i od razu całą serię przeczytałam, ogólnie podobało mi się

My thoughts on this whole series:
Nora. What a tool. I've never met a leading lady who is as ridiculously stupid as Nora, nor as lacking of common sense. She got herself into so much trouble simply because she did not trust others, and thought herself superior. Above danger. Even as the situation intensified, she still trusted the wrong people, including herself.
Patch. What a mighty-fine fallen angel. I thought that - alongside Scott and Vee - Patch developed the most throughout this novel. He remained suitably mysterious that I was always a bit, "Ooh you saucy Angel, what are you planning?" but he had the intelligence and the attractiveness to balance this out. He developed and he trusted Nora, thus us, by telling us some of his undertakings.
I wished we had read the story of Nora through the eyes of Patch, Scott and Vee. They were just such better developed characters, and they were much more likeable than Nora. Even if we had been given the odd Nora POV chapters.
I actually really enjoyed the plot of the these novels. I felt that the fallen angels/nephilim wars were undermined slightly by the duller and less adult sub-plots such as the role of Nora's school and the fact that Nora just seemed to be surrounded by attractive men who naturally all loved her and she had to juggle their jealousy. It was really teenagery. Like school and boys *ooh* and friendship were crammed in to meet 'teenage' ideals for a novel, but this lay at odds with the adult seriousness of the angel wars.
Overall there was something very compelling about the novels, and if you could ignore Nora then they were ok afternoon reads. I am glad I stuck with them and made it to the end, even if it was just to see that Patch/Vee etc. got their happy endings.
