Predictable. And the main character is quite dumb. Easy read though.

I love a good small town murder mystery and this one didn't disappoint! A true page turner

This was a very simplistic book. I did enjoy the storyline well enough but I did guess who the murder was at the very start of the book. While the cover screamed cozy mystery at me that wasn’t really the vibe I got from reading this book.

Jen was a good enough main character but one of her flaws would be not seeing what’s right in front of her. Also she referred to a man she had been on one date with as her boyfriend which was very strange.

I think a lot of the characters could’ve been more complex and fleshed out, and this could’ve made the book a lot better

Overall a good palate cleanser after a heavy fantasy book but I probably won’t be reading again
