Unpopular opinion...but just not my jam!

Say You Swear by Meagan Brady is a novel that explores themes of love, friendship, and personal growth. However, despite its best intentions, this book didn't resonate with me personally due to its writing style and narrative execution.

The story revolves around the lives of several interconnected characters navigating the complexities of relationships and self-discovery. Meagan Brady attempts to delve into the emotional depth of her characters and their journeys, but I found myself struggling to connect with them on a meaningful level. The character development felt shallow, and their motivations and actions often lacked believability or consistency.

One of the main reasons Say You Swear didn't resonate with me was the writing style. While some readers may appreciate the author's approach, I found it difficult to engage with the story due to its inconsistent pacing and fragmented narrative structure. The transitions between different perspectives and timelines were often abrupt and confusing, hindering my ability to fully immerse myself in the story.

Furthermore, the dialogue felt forced and unnatural at times, detracting from the authenticity of the characters' interactions. This made it challenging for me to invest in their relationships and empathize with their experiences. Additionally, the plot seemed to meander without a clear direction, and key storylines and conflicts were often unresolved or left hanging.

It's important to note that personal reading preferences heavily influence one's experience with a book. While Say You Swear wasn't my style, readers who appreciate character-driven narratives with a more fragmented structure might find more enjoyment in this novel. Every reader has unique tastes, and what didn't resonate with me may resonate with others.

In conclusion, Say You Swear by Meagan Brady didn't capture my attention or engage me as a reader. The shallow character development, inconsistent pacing, and fragmented narrative structure hindered my enjoyment of the story. However, readers with different preferences might find merit in the novel's exploration of relationships and personal growth. Ultimately, I would recommend exploring other books in your preferred genre or style that align more closely with your reading preferences.

Noah Riley… Noah! Riley! …. NOAH FREAKING RILEY! We do not deserve Noah.

The hype of this book.. I was expecting an easy 5/5 but I didn’t get that. Noah for sure stole the book and he’s too dang good. Book boyfriends should bow to guys like Noah Riley!!

I want to re read and I think I may increase to 4.5stars.. maybe 5/5.. but something just felt like it was missing. Maybe I waited too long to read it and it just didn’t hit for me? I wanted to LOVE this book and I “really like it”

It was so hard to watch Noah during parts of the book. My heart SHATTERED for him. This guy went through SO MUCH!

Kindle. Bought paperback.

noah riley is literally THE man, and makes it impossible for me to date because he is the absolute standard and i love it, but can we appreciate brady's flirtatious behavior and how he made me blush throughout the book? like i was literally laughing, crying, and giggling at the same time because of how adorable the whole book is.

i enjoyed it as a romance and obviously the characters were lovely to read, especially noah's pov, despite not being a big fan of dual pov books. i also think the writing [though not exactly my preference] was comedic and has that romantic splash to it which was why i enjoyed the book so much since the dialogues were perfection.

this has to be the most flirtatious romance book i've read this year and *gasps* it's not enemies to lovers and i actually loved the friends to lovers with noah and ari! i also love the communication between them and i think they're adorable. i also got attached to some side characters and i'm wondering if they'll have a book of their own, like mason and brady.

overall, the romance was soooo enjoyable and i found myself binge reading it overnight until 3 in the morning because i was challenged by the page count, LMAO. it was saying like, "i bet you can't finish 500+ pages in one sitting", and i just took it as a sign to push my limits and be blushing and kicking my feet until early morning.

i do believe that this book deserves so much more hype, and it will definitely be one that i will recommend to friends! i think it's a great romance book and i'm so enticed to get a physical copy of this book just because i enjoyed it so much!

This book was so darn good! Noah Riley people!!!!! Wow! I loved so many things in this book, the brother/ sister relationship, the friends and of course Noah and Ari. I was hooked, there was comedy, there was angst and so much swoon!
The writing was a little clunky in places and there were lots of grammatical errors that took you out of the story and the final act dragged a bit longer then it needed too but overall this was a really great read and I loved it. Absolutely recommend!

This book hurt so much in so many ways. Noah is amazing, literal book boyfriend goals. Chase is a fucking snake, god I want to go through this book and whack him for using Ari, not just in her teen years, but when she had FREAKING AMNESIA. Good god man, get a GRIP. This book was so cute and so heartbreaking and I will be pushing this down all my friends throats.
